The American Bouvier Rescue League presents

K9 Nose Work Scenting Workshop

Canton, Georgia
October 24 & 25, 2010

New: Information for Participants

K9 Nose Work returns to Georgia! Join us for our second K9 Nose Work workshop featuring internationally renowned K9 Nose Work co-founders and Certified Nose Work Instructors (CNWI) Ron Gaunt and Amy Herot, CPDT. They’ll join us from California to teach us more about Nose Work, an activity suitable for energetic and timid dogs alike. This detection-style sport is designed to develop your dog’s natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food, and exercise. A great way for your dog to have fun, build confidence, and burn lots of mental and physical energy. Ask anyone who’s tried it, and they’ll tell you they’re hooked!

Auditing is one of the most productive ways to learn the concepts of K9 Nose Work and is a crucial step for those interested in becoming Certified Nose Work Instructors. Being an active participant at a workshop is a good learning experience, but auditing helps you gain additional insights into the process making you a better partner to your own dog, as well as learning through observation. K9 Nose Work is as much about observing dogs working as it is about working your individual dog.
